With more than 30 years of experience practicing law, John understands the many facets of a business transaction. His practice focuses primarily in the areas of corporate, contract and real estate law and commercial transactions. He regularly advises closely held businesses regarding their corporate, financial, LLC and partnership planning, as well as employment matters. John’s background includes frequent representation of real estate developers and professionals, as well as property buyers and sellers, in commercial and residential real estate transactions. John also has extensive experience in the financing of small businesses and development projects, including representing borrowers and lenders and raising private capital while navigating through the securities laws.

Personal
John was raised in California and attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He moved to Seattle in 1980 and has been married to his wife, Janet, since 1986. They have four children, Anna Bacho and Willie, Molly and Lucy Bauer. In his free time, John is an avid tennis player, golfer and skier.
